Auf der Zielgeraden (Champs-Élysées quasi in Tour-Terminologie) gerieten wir etwas ins Straucheln: Über Nacht wurden wir beide krank und konnten so nicht wie geplant zum Lake Bunyonyi fahren. Auch ok, man muss sich ja noch Ziele überlassen. Also fuhren wir über Kabale direkt nach Kampala zu einem HORIZONT3000 Security-Workshop. Am Freitag waren wir noch mit unserer Gulu-Gang Abendessen und haben uns von Anders und Cecilie verabschiedet. Das Wochenende verbrachten wir mit meinen H3-Kollegen Sina und Wolfgang, dessen Verlobter Joan und meinem PACHEDO-Kollegen Johannes im Entebbe Sailing Club. Ein perfektes Ende eigentlich. (Fotos sind diesmal hauptsächlich von Johannes, war schon etwas zu faul um viel zu fotografieren.)
On the final stretch (Champs-Élysées figuratively in tour terminology) we struggled a bit: overnight we both got sick and couldn’t go to Lake Bunyonyi as planned. It’s okay, you have to leave some destinations open. So instead we drove via Kabale directly to Kampala for a HORIZONT3000 security workshop. On Friday we met our Gulu friends for dinner and said goodbye to Anders and Cecilie. The weekend we spent with my H3 colleagues Sina and Wolfgang, his fiancée Joan and my PACHEDO colleague Johannes at the Entebbe Sailing Club. Pretty much a perfect ending.
