Letzte Woche waren Cathi und ich auf Urlaub auf Sansibar (genauer genommen auf Unguja, der Hauptinsel des Archipels). Unsere Urlaubsfotos wollen wir euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten, den Anfang macht mal Stone Town, die Altstadt von Sansibar City. Hier gibt es einen eindrucksvollen kulturellen Mix zu bestaunen, unter anderem findet man arabische, europäische, indische und persische Einflüsse.

ZANZIBAR – STONE TOWN

Last week Cathi and I were on vacation on Zanzibar (to be exact on Unguja, the main island of the archipelago). Of course we want to share our holiday photos with you, starting with Stone Town, the old part of Zanzibar City. Here one can find an impressive cultural mix, among the influences are Arabic, European, Indian and Persian elements.
